1. a series of thoughts, images, and sensations occurring in a person’s mind.
2. to contemplate the possibility of doing something or that something might be the case.
3. a vision voluntarily indulged in while awake.
I love to dream, whether in my awake and conscious state, or sleeping and in my other conscious state. Visuals, sounds, beautiful places and ideas all come alive and vivid in the “dream” state. Flying, floating, having tea with fairies or actually painting, writing, or singing, dreams help one to become more spontaneous and lucid. I have been called a “daydreamer” my entire life and am very good at it!
To dream is to anticipate the creation of a desire. To allow the mind to go beyond our everyday reality and to produce visions with no limitations or concerns is a lovely way to go through life. To explore outside the normal, the expected, and the known provides one with the opportunity to indulge in larger more amazing things.
As we all do create our own perception of our personal realities, dreams entertain and permit expansion of our being. Moment by moment we get to create our perceptions of our lives, so dreaming adds lovely nuances to our experiences. If you can dream it, you can create it.
During this holiday season and throughout the year, dream daily, nightly, and magnificently! xoxo
