Family Gratitude and Thanksgiving

family gratitude thanksgivingCaptured in a moment of time… this is my moms family of 12 children and my sweet grandma & grandpa at their home in Reedsburg Wisconsin. I was about 5 or 6 when this photo was taken yet I remember the day entirely! I loved going to family get- togethers and seeing my huge extension of family, can you even imagine how many cousins I had at my disposal! What a gem of a time frame. 4 of the lovely people in this photograph are no longer with us in their physical form, and more will continue to leave. I love photos and take 1000’s every year trying to capture pieces for my mind and heart to go back and reflect on.

During the upcoming Thanksgiving holiday I am sure many of you will get together with family and take photos of the wonderful experiences you have that day. Do it up hugely and really make an effort to connect with your family and friends. Share stories and love as well as good food. Keep those that are no longer on the earth, those whose forever souls have moved on back to the spirit realm close by and in your mind. Set a place for them and tell the stories about them that warm your hearts. They are never far away when you think of them!

Sit in gratitude for all that you have and all that you are. xoxo
